Sensing Change provides different levels of learning BSL. Whether you are looking to develop your skills, learn something different and fun, or perhaps looking for a new and exciting career, learning BSL could be for you.

BSL Level 1

32 weeks. The aim of our BSL level 1 course is to enable learners to communicate with Deaf people in BSL about familiar day to day topics and activities. You will learn the basic BSL finger spelling, numbers, objects and basic conversations. This course will enable you to start communicating confidently and will lead to an accredited qualification through a series of assessments.

BSL Level 2

50 weeks. Our Level 2 course will build on the confidence and skills you gained at Level 1. The course will develop your functional communication in BSL including conversing about a range of typical life and daily experiences. You will be able to deal with most language tasks and have sufficient groups of grammar to cope with some non-routine tasks.

Exam Fees where necessary are included in the cost of these course.
